Toys

Toys can be a great addition to sex, whether you are by yourself or with a partner. There are so many toys available it is impossible to talk about them all. For your cock, there are cock rings and straps. For your balls, there are straps, bags, and ball stretchers. And for your ass, there are dildos, butt plugs, and anal balls. And that is just to name a few.

When it comes to anal toys, explore and find the ones you enjoy the most. But, start small. As you play with these, your ass will become accustomed to having a toy inside and you can gradually increase the size if you want to. Dildos are meant to simulate fucking. So, you can grab one and slide it in and out of your ass, or set it on a hard surface like a chair and ride it up and down. Dildos can be a great way to train your ass and make getting fucked easier. Butt plugs and anal balls are meant to be left in for a while.

There are a few important rules when enjoying anal toys:

  • Start small. Just like when getting fucked, when you initially insert a toy in your ass, especially if it is the first time or this is something you do rarely, your sphincter muscle will spasm causing some pain. Slide the toy out, relax, wait for the spasm to pass, and then try again. Starting with small toys will make this much easier.
  • Use lots of lube – when it comes to anal play, you can never have too much lube. Make sure your toy is well lubed before you start, and feel free to add more at any time.
  • If you want to try a larger toy, increase the size gradually. Dildos, plugs ,and balls come in many sizes, but don’t try to jump from the mini-version directly to the King Kong version. Increasing the size gradually will be more comfortable, fun, and exciting.
  • Stop if it hurts. If a toy is causing you pain or discomfort, stop. You can wait a few minutes and try again. If it still hurts, it may not be the right toy for you.
  • Never share your anal toys with anyone, ever. Sharing toys is a great way to transmit HIV and other STI’s like gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and syphilis, as well as Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. Sharing toys can also transmit gut pathogens like Shigella, Campylobacter, and Giardia. If someone has a toy in their ass, rectal fluid and mucus containing one or more of these infectious organisms will be deposited on the toy. If you then put the toy in your ass, well it should be obvious what will happen.
  • Always clean your toys with hot soapy water when you are done using them. Any soap or detergent is fine, but be sure to rinse the toy well.  Residual soap can irritate your ass.
  • Don’t improvise. There are an almost infinite number of toys that you can buy at sex shops or online, so there is no need to improvise with household objects. Never put something with sharp edges or that might break inside your ass. And make sure your toys have a base or a grip that remains outside your ass. You will want this to pull to remove the toy. One thing you don’t want is to lose something up your ass that you can’t pull out. That can result in a very embarrassing trip to the emergency department.
